    1) Clinical Counselor

    The Rugby Public School District #5 is seeking a Licensed Clinical Counselor. Work involves providing direct clinical mental health services to a varied, complex caseload at the advanced professional license level.

    This position will serve the Rugby Public School District, Pierce County Social Services, and the Heart of America Correctional and Treatment Center. The Rugby Public School District will hold the contract. The position shares time between the school district and the above mentioned county agencies. This position shall possess and utilize the credentials necessary to have billable status that allows the agencies to obtain reimbursement from commercial insurance and other third-party reimbursement funding sources.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Requires a master's degree in social work, counseling, or any other master's degree approved by the North Dakota Board of Counseling Examiners, and licensure as a LICSW (Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker), or LPCC (Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor), or LAPC (Licensed Associate Professional Clinical Counselor).

    Reports to: Superintendent of Schools

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct intake: interview clients to collect information necessary to evaluate the need for services; complete clinical assessment.
    • Analyze information obtained through records, testing, consultative reports, and related professional sources to appraise interests, aptitudes, abilities, and related characteristics; establish diagnosis.
    • Develop, implement, and maintain treatment and rehabilitative plans for each client.
    • Provide direct case management, counseling, or psychotherapy services to individual, family, and groups.
    • Observe and monitor client behavior to determine effectiveness of counseling techniques; assess treatment and rehabilitation plan progress.
    • Prepare and maintain clinical case records.
    • Provide education, training, evaluation, and consultation to families, teachers, administrators, school district and county agencies, and community groups.
    • Provide clinical support and guidance to other staff.
    • Provide crisis intervention services by phone or face-to-face assessments.
    • May need to serve as an expert witness in legal proceedings.
    • Shall serve on teams, committees, and task forces as related to job functions or as appoint by agencies.
    • Represent the school district and county agencies at local, regional, and state meetings.

    Start Date: August 2019

    Salary and benefits: Salary Range: $60,000 to $70,000, DOE, plus retirement and a single health insurance plan.

    2) High School Assistant Hockey Coach

    Duration:         Approximately 4 months

    Salary:             $4,345.60

    Job Description:

    Successful candidate will serve as an assistant hockey coach.  Duties will include attending all practices and scheduled games of the team, providing level appropriate hockey skill training, and serving as a role model for young athletes.  Candidate must have a flexible schedule, be able to attend before or after school practices, and be available to work evenings and weekends during the hockey season.
